Dax Shepard proved his dedication to football knows no bounds, choosing to keep tabs on the Lions-Vikings game during the prestigious Golden Globes ceremony.

His wife, Kristen Bell, couldn’t resist sharing the moment with her followers, capturing footage of Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie presenting an award before revealing her husband’s divided attention. The video showed Shepard discreetly watching the game on his phone, which he had positioned between his knees.

Despite attending as a nominee, Bell took her husband’s sports dedication in stride, playfully captioning the moment “#priorities.” The actress was up for best performance by a female actor in a television series — music or comedy for her Netflix series alongside Adam Brody, though Jean Smart ultimately claimed the award for “Hacks.”

The couple made a striking pair at the event, with Bell donning an elegant gold Ashi Studio gown featuring a corset bodice, while Shepard added his personal touch to formal attire by sporting checkered Vans sneakers with his suit.

Bell and Shepard, who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in October 2023, are parents to Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 10. This nomination marked Bell’s second in this category, following her 2019 nod for “The Good Place.”

The success of Bell’s latest project with Brody sparked enthusiastic reactions, including from Shepard himself. At the New Yorker Film Festival, he humorously remarked that he “didn’t even know [his wife] could kiss like that” until watching her character Joanne’s scenes with Brody’s Rabbi Noah.

Bell revealed in an eTalk interview that her husband was particularly enthusiastic about her on-screen chemistry with Brody, noting that Shepard wanted her to kiss her co-star “so badly” while viewing the show.

The evening was also special for Brody, who attended with his wife Leighton Meester. The actress stunned in a green Versace gown as they walked the Beverly Hilton Hotel’s red carpet. The couple, married since 2014, share daughter Arlo, 9, and a 4-year-old son whose name remains private.

Following the show’s success, Netflix has confirmed a second season of “Nobody Wants This,” announcing the renewal in October 2024.
