President Biden has taken a swipe at Elon Musk, referencing a recent report that the Tesla CEO allegedly worked in the US without proper authorization. The president’s remarks came during a campaign fundraiser in San Francisco, where he emphasized the importance of providing pathways to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

Biden highlighted “That wealthiest man in the world turned out to be an illegal worker here. No, I’m serious. He was supposed to be in school when he came on a student visa. He wasn’t in school. He was violating the law. And he’s talking about all these illegals coming our way?”

The president’s comments were in response to a Bloomberg News report claiming that Musk had worked in the US without proper authorization in the 1990s. According to the report, Musk arrived in Canada from South Africa in 1989 and later moved to the US in 1995, allegedly working without the necessary visa.
