Billions Given To Illegal Immigrants In Blue States

New York City’s Mayor Eric Adams’ administration is gearing up to send out $53 million in prepaid credit cards to illegal aliens who are being housed in area hotels, according to Red State.

The pilot program will be run by the New Jersey company Mobility Capital Finance, according to the New York Post. Illegal immigrants arriving at the Roosevelt Hotel will be provided with prepaid credit cards so they can purchase food.

Prepaid cards can be used at grocery stores, bodegas and convenience stores. Illegals will be required to sign affidavits indicating they will spend the funds on food and baby supplies. If caught doing otherwise, they will be kicked out of the program.

The size of the family and whether any other income is coming in will dictate the amount of funds on each card. A family of four could be provided with almost $1,000 each month. Cards will be reloaded every 28 days.

Last year, illegal immigration was projected to cost New Yorkers $10 billion. In the U.S., the bill was projected at $150 billion, according to the conservative Federation for American Immigration Reform.

In 2024, the bill will likely be much higher if little or nothing is done to secure the border.
On the other side of the country, California became the first state to hand out free health insurance to all illegal aliens, according to 10 News.

The state health insurance program for low-income residents was expanded to cover all undocumented immigrants in January.

An estimated 764,000 people were added to Medi-Cal, the state’s version of Medicaid. The estimated cost of the expanded coverage will cost California taxpayers an estimated 2.6 billion a year, according to News 10.

The California State Republican Caucus criticized the move by pointing out that more than one-third of the state’s population is already on Medi-Cal and adding another 764,000 will drive up costs while limiting access to health facilities.

Democratic strongholds like New York and California burden tax-payers to feed, house and provide health insurance for people who are in the country illegally.

Break the law and you are rewarded. Follow the law and you will be fined to pay the lawbreakers. It’s all upside down.
