Law enforcement apprehended an individual exhibiting peculiar behavior, operating their vehicle on the sidewalk in close proximity to the United States Capitol building on Thursday morning. This incident occurred merely a day after a devastating terror attack in New Orleans, where a driver deliberately rammed into a crowd of New Year’s Eve revelers, resulting in 15 fatalities.

According to an official statement released by the Capitol Police, their officers promptly took the suspicious individual into custody within a grassy area after he maneuvered his vehicle “near Peace Circle, and into the grassy area near Third Street, NW, and Constitution Ave.”
This erratic conduct follows the ISIS-inspired act of terror perpetrated by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, an Army veteran and US citizen, who ruthlessly drove over more than a dozen people celebrating on Bourbon Street in New Orleans during the early hours of New Year’s Day.
Hours later, in another apparent terror attack, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, claiming the life of only its driver.
