Looking ahead to the 2028 Republican Party’s presidential primary race, VP Vance enjoys a substantial lead over potential contenders, garnering 61% of conservative leaders’ support. Steve Bannon trails distantly at 12%, while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis secures third place with 7%.

The CPAC poll also delved into the pursuit of the President’s agenda, given the Republican control of both the House and Senate, inquiring about the importance of Congress swiftly passing Trump’s agenda. The response was resounding, with 99% indicating its significance and an impressive 97% deeming it “very” important.
