A social media post claiming conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair and Elon Musk used IVF to conceive a child together has been proven false. The viral image, which garnered over 500,000 views, showcased what appeared to be a social media statement from St. Clair.

According to the New York Post, St. Clair stated that Musk had contacted her through direct messages on X and she interviewed him during her time at The Babylon Bee. She was reportedly instructed to maintain silence about her pregnancy.

The fabricated post detailed claims about using IVF with PGT-M and CRISPR technologies, suggesting genetic enhancements were made to ensure superior traits in their child. The message also expressed St. Clair’s trust in Musk’s judgment regarding both national matters and their alleged baby’s future.

However, a thorough investigation revealed no evidence of this post on St. Clair’s verified X account. Musk has remained silent on these allegations, and no legitimate news sources have substantiated these claims. Lead Stories published a fact-check on February 16 dismissing the story.

St. Clair’s spokesperson explicitly confirmed the post’s inauthenticity, stating “That is a counterfeit post, and if you look a little deeper you will find that it never originated from Ashley or Ashley’s account.”

While the IVF claims are unfounded, St. Clair did announce on February 14 via X that she had given birth five months earlier, identifying Musk as the father.
