An El Paso FBI agent warned that a Venezuelan gang, the fastest growing criminal organization in the world, is infiltrating the U.S. over the unsecured southern border with Mexico, according to a report earlier this month by Border Report.
Hector Guerrero founded Tren de Aragua, also known as the “Aragua Train” in 2012 while going by the alias “Niño Guerrero,” Spanish for Warrior Kid. U.S. authorities have warned that Guerrero may be living inside the U.S. after crossing the border illegally to gain entry.

The New York Post recently warned that the Venezuelan illegal immigrant gang Tren de Aragua is behind a recent spate of 62 violent robberies and attacks on the streets of New York City. The suspects have stolen dozens of phones and wallets from pedestrians by snatching them and fleeing on mopeds.
The gang drew media attention last September when 11,000 police officers raided Tocorón prison in Venezuela, where the group was operating — uncovering a children’s playground, swimming pools, a nightclub, and a zoo. Hundreds of criminals fled the prison during the raid and escaped, making it the worst prison escape in Venezuela’s history.
Now the gang is operating in the U.S. thanks to the porous southern border with Mexico.
“The gang capitalizes on its Venezuelan community for entry,” said FBI Special Agent Britton Boyd with the El Paso FBI, adding that the gang mainly focuses on human smuggling and trafficking.

Former Border Patrol Agent Ammon Blair warned, “The same thing that is happening in South America is now going to start happening here in the United States in the Venezuelan migrant communities.”
A coalition of former FBI officials warned Congress in a letter late last month that “the United States is facing a new and imminent danger.” That danger is an invasion by illegal immigrants, according to the letter, “In its modern history, the U.S. has never suffered an invasion of the homeland and, yet, one is unfolding now.”
“Military aged men from across the globe, many from countries or regions not friendly to the United States, are landing in waves on our soil by the thousands [ … ],” the letter warned, “across a border that has been accurately advertised around the world as largely unprotected with ready access granted.”
