A federal contractor who received more than $5 billion in taxpayer funds since President Joe Biden took office in 2021 recently announced it would host Critical Race Theorist Robin DiAngelo as a keynote speaker and sponsor book clubs containing her works on anti-racism.
The Daily Wire reported that the not-for-profit organization, the Mitre Corporation, has received over 3,000 government contracts from federal agencies and has helped push the far-left’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
In a leaked memorandum, the organization announced DiAngelo would serve as a keynote speaker at its “Week of Belonging” celebration, scheduled for April 22, 2024.

“We are thrilled to announce our opening keynote speaker, Robin DiAngelo Ph.D, affiliate associate professor of education at the University of Washington and author of ‘White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism’ and ‘Nice Racism: How Progressive White People Perpetuate Racial Harm,’” the memorandum states.
“She will join us in a fireside chat to discuss the skills needed to be effective stewards and overcome challenges to creating the impact we want to see,” it adds.
Mitre Corporation’s upcoming event with DiAngelo comes as the Biden administration has pushed for implementing DEI measures in the federal government to try and spread its leftist ideology.
Since Biden took office, the organization has raked in nearly $13 million from DEI-related federal contracts, according to the Daily Wire.
DiAngelo’s scheduled speech will occur at Mitre Corporation’s “Week of Belonging,” which will discuss “sustainable solutions within the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) model.”
The organization praised DiAngelo in its memorandum, crediting her with coming up with the term “white fragility” in an article that “influenced the international dialogue on race.”
“In honor of DiAngelo’s keynote engagement, MITRE’s [inclusion and diversity] team will sponsor 10 book clubs across the organization, reading either White Fragility of Nice Racism,” the memorandum to employees reads.
Mitre Corporation has received massive funds from the federal government while acting as a federally funded research and development center for multiple U.S. agencies. In 2023 alone, the company garnered over $700 million from the Department of Defense (DOD).
DiAngelo has received criticism over her claims that the U.S. is a “systemically racist” country.
