Michael Moore, the renowned filmmaker and political commentator, is making an impassioned plea to non-voters, urging them to support Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election. In a recent blog post, Moore emphasized the critical nature of this request, stating, “Can I ask that you do it just as a favor for me? It really is that important to me.”

Moore began by reminding readers of his accurate prediction of Donald Trump’s presidency in 2016, which he claims went unheeded. He then addressed non-voters directly, acknowledging their potential disinterest in politics or fatigue from constant voting appeals.

The filmmaker highlighted the misconceptions some voters have about non-voters, suggesting that they’re viewed as uninformed or unpredictable. However, Moore expressed his desire for these individuals to participate in the electoral process, drawing a parallel between non-voting and his own non-drinking stance.

Emphasizing the significant impact non-voters could have, Moore declared, “You, my friends, ARE THE BIGGEST AND MOST POWERFUL POLITICAL PARTY IN AMERICA!” He then outlined Vice President Harris’s positions on various issues, including reproductive rights, taxing the wealthy, and gun control.

Moore concluded his appeal by requesting non-voters who align with Harris’s views to make their voices heard “just this once.” Notably, he did not extend this invitation to those who disagree with the Vice President’s policies, implying a preference for like-minded individuals to participate in the voting process.
