Rep. Byron Donalds appeared on Fox News Sunday to dispel concerns about President-elect Donald Trump maintaining an “enemies list,” emphasizing instead Trump’s commitment to fostering nationwide prosperity.

Speaking candidly about claims from Democratic opponents, Donalds stated, “for the American people who have been listening to these lies from the Democratic left: I will tell you, this is not something that Donald Trump has ever spoken to or he’s committed to whatsoever.”

Addressing worries stemming from Trump’s reference to “the enemy within,” Donalds clarified that while there are political opponents, Trump’s attention remains firmly fixed on serving the American public.

The Florida congressman outlined Trump’s primary objectives: securing the border, addressing illegal immigration, and revitalizing the economy with a focus on energy independence. He dismissed talk of an enemies list as mere speculation from certain media outlets.

Donalds highlighted Trump’s results-oriented approach, explaining that the former president’s focus lies in achieving measurable successes that demonstrate effective leadership upon his return to the White House.

The conversation touched on Trump’s growing support among minority voters, with data showing significant gains among both Hispanic and Black voters compared to the previous election cycle.

Donalds concluded by emphasizing the broad appeal of Trump’s message, stating “what you heard from Black men, and you heard also from Hispanic men, you heard also from, in part, suburban women: They want a country that is safe. They want an economy that is thriving. And Donald Trump is going to deliver on all these promises.”
