Kyle Richards recently addressed her hesitation to discuss divorce proceedings with her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”

“No,” Richards, 55, said in response to whether they’d discussed divorce. “We’re good friends. We get along really well. We live separate lives, and it just hasn’t come up.”

She elaborated on their current situation, stating, “When the time comes, obviously, we will address it.”

Host Andy Cohen, 56, observed that Richards likely wasn’t eager to initiate such a conversation, to which she acknowledged, “Of course not. It’s hard, and it’s not something either one of us obviously feels comfortable initiating and we just kind of let that go. … It is what it is right now.”

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star maintains regular contact with Umansky, 54, communicating via text messages either daily or every few days, with phone conversations occurring multiple times per week.

While Umansky has begun dating, Richards mentioned she’s intentionally steered clear of meeting any of his new romantic interests. She did acknowledge considering entering the dating scene herself.

Following their separation, Richards faced speculation about her relationship with singer Morgan Wade, though both have consistently maintained their friendship is purely platonic.

Umansky’s romantic life has garnered attention, particularly when he was seen showing affection with his “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Emma Slater, in October 2023. Richards admitted on “WWHL” that these public displays were difficult for her to witness, saying she felt “taken aback” by the situation.

More recently, Umansky has been spotted enjoying multiple getaways with Russian actress Nikita Kahn.
