In a candid interview with Hello! UK magazine, Lindsay Lohan opened up about her first encounter with her husband Bader Shammas’ family and her journey into motherhood.
The 38-year-old actress described her initial nervousness about meeting her future in-laws, particularly given the size of Shammas’ family. Despite her initial apprehension, the “Parent Trap” star found herself warmly embraced by her husband’s mother and numerous sisters.
“That’s always a potentially tricky situation,” she admitted to Hello! UK magazine. “I remember being super-nervous when I met my husband’s family for the first time. His mum is so great, and she has all these gorgeous sisters, so it was a lot.”

What started as an anxiety-filled introduction has blossomed into a close-knit family bond. The actress expressed her gratitude for their unwavering support, particularly during holiday celebrations and whenever she needs guidance.
“They’re so sweet, and we’re all really close now,” she shared. “We’re one big family, which is so nice, especially at Christmas — but they’re always there if I need someone to turn to.”

Now a mother to 1-year-old Luai, Lohan has found new joy in parenthood alongside Shammas. “It’s everything I hoped it would be and more,” she told the outlet. “My little boy is such a blessing. Being with him is like falling in love all over again, every single day.”
The couple’s love story began in 2019 at a Dubai restaurant, leading to their engagement in November 2021 and marriage in April 2022. They currently reside in Dubai, where Lohan has made her home since 2014.
Speaking about their life in Dubai, Lohan expressed contentment with their peaceful existence away from Hollywood’s spotlight. “Being in Dubai and getting time to just be me and spend time with my family without any of the industry noise around me has been so nice,” she said. “I love it there. Every day, being there with my son and my husband, I feel so blessed.”
Following their wedding, Lohan shared her happiness on social media, writing, “You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. every woman should feel like this everyday.”
