In a tragic turn of events prior to the Las Vegas Trump International incident, Green Beret Master Sergeant Matthew Livelsberger engaged in what appeared to be a casual text conversation with his former girlfriend about his rented Tesla Cybertruck.

According to The Gazette, Livelsberger initiated contact with his ex-girlfriend, Alicia Arritt, sharing his excitement about the vehicle. In their exchange, he wrote, “I rented a Tesla cybertruck[.] It’s the shit[.]” followed by “I’m building drones in my new position[.] you would love it.”

The conversation, which Arritt confirmed took place on Sunday from Denver, maintained a lighthearted tone. Livelsberger shared photos of the Cybertruck and compared himself to Batman and the protagonist from the Xbox game Halo, referencing the iconic warthog vehicle from the game.

When Arritt playfully questioned whether to admire or tease him about the vehicle and inquired about its speed, Livelsberger simply responded, “Ungodly.”

The exchange took an unexpected turn when Arritt asked about his mother’s wellbeing, to which he replied, “She’s still the same no change so lame.”

Despite the seemingly normal conversation between old acquaintances, Arritt noted the unusual nature of his sudden contact following their difficult breakup in 2021. Since then, their lives had taken different paths – Livelsberger had married and become a father, while Arritt continued her life as a working single mother.

A neighbor reported that Livelsberger’s wife had recently given birth to their daughter, though FBI reports indicated he had recently separated from his spouse.

Their history dates back to 2018, when they met at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Arritt, then an Army nurse, and Livelsberger, serving in Special Forces, later attended a “government trip for ‘spy school’ in Washington State.”

According to Arritt, Livelsberger’s behavior changed significantly in 2019, displaying signs of isolation and depression following a Traumatic Brain Injury sustained during his Middle East service.

While Livelsberger’s uncle described him as an ardent Trump supporter, Arritt acknowledged knowing him as someone with conservative political views.
