Paris Hilton recently opened up about her devastating loss during the California wildfires, sharing her emotional journey at the third annual God’s Love We Deliver Young Hearts Friends Fest in New York City.

Speaking exclusively at the Museum of Ice Cream on Tuesday, the media personality expressed her relief about the recent rainfall, noting how the fires had been particularly frightening with burning embers spreading and igniting new blazes.

The reality star and her spouse, Carter Reum, recently visited their Malibu beachfront property, which was reduced to rubble by the destructive fires. Their social media documentation revealed only the entrance and portions of the foundation remained of their $8.4 million home, which they had acquired in June 2021.

For Hilton, the most difficult aspect of the loss has been the sentimental value attached to the property. She particularly mourned the family’s art room, where they had created precious mementos she had hoped to preserve for years to come.

Despite the significant material loss, the entrepreneur maintained perspective, emphasizing that her family’s safety was paramount.

The couple, who exchanged vows in November 2021, brought their young children – two-year-old Phoenix and one-year-old London – to their first red carpet appearance at the charitable event.

Interestingly, despite the venue’s sweet treats, Hilton revealed her children’s surprisingly health-conscious palates. According to the star, her toddlers consistently opt for nutritious choices like fruits and vegetables, showing little interest in sugary treats, even during special occasions like birthdays.

She recounted a recent instance where Phoenix declined Hello Kitty cotton candy, though she remained hopeful about their potential enjoyment of the museum’s ice cream offerings later that evening.
