The bizarre idolization of Luigi Mangione took a disturbing turn during a Boston dance party on Friday, where footage of the alleged killer was displayed alongside a love song at what was promoted as a Disney-themed event.
This development follows Tuesday’s formal indictment by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where Mangione, 26, faces 11 criminal charges, including first-degree murder with terrorism enhancement, for allegedly orchestrating the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

The controversy deepened when television host Jimmy Kimmel contributed to the questionable narrative during his show, openly discussing his production team’s inappropriate attraction to the accused murderer.
Adding to the concerning response, prominent political figures, including Senator Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, have been criticized for appearing to defend the violent act.
The situation escalated further when Comrade Workwear, a self-described socialist clothing company, announced its intention to produce playing cards featuring what they termed the “52 most wanted CEOs,” capitalizing on the tragic event.

“We got to give the people what they want,” the DJ announced to an enthusiastic crowd, according to The New York Post.
The event, which was marketed as Disney-themed, drew sharp criticism online, with many describing it as “sick” and “wildly inappropriate.”
Vanessa White, who captured the footage, informed Storyful that the event was organized by Bop to the Top, a DJ collective named after a song from “High School Musical.”
