In another troubling development for Prince Andrew, new evidence has surfaced in an unrelated lawsuit, revealing emails that contradict his previous statements about cutting ties with Jeffrey Epstein. The correspondence suggests the Duke of York maintained contact with the convicted pedophile longer than he admitted during his notorious BBC interview.
Adding to the pressure, Kashyap ‘Kash’ Patel, President Trump’s nominee for FBI director, has committed to investigating powerful figures connected to Epstein’s sex trafficking network.
British media outlets are intensely focused on the possibility of an FBI probe into Prince Andrew, particularly following the discovery of an email where he expressed eagerness to “play some more soon!” with Epstein weeks after allegedly severing contact.
Kash Patel says that he’ll get to the bottom of who helped facilitate Jeffrey Epstein’s “child s*x trafficking.”

Daily Mail reported:
“The Duke of York sent the bombshell email pledging to ‘keep in close touch’, despite claiming he had ceased all contact with the American financier weeks earlier, it has been revealed.
The fresh evidence infers that Andrew could’ve lied in his disastrous 2019 Newsnight interview, where he insisted he had stopped seeing Epstein in early December 2010, when they were photographed walking through New York’s Central Park. Despite this claim, a February 2011 email has been uncovered that Andrew wrote to his predator friend: ‘Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon!!!!'”
Further complications arose when court documents revealed that Andrew’s closest aide had discussed the disastrous BBC interview with alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengo, describing it as “hugely ill-advised and unsuccessful.”
“Now Kash Patel, who has been lined up to take up the helm of the FBI by Donald Trump, has turned his attention to Andrew saying he was prepared to investigate anyone linked to convicted sexual offender during a Senate hearing.

Mr. Patel pledged: ‘Child sex trafficking has no place in the US. I will do everything, if confirmed as FBI director, to make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened.’ He agreed to a senator’s demands to open up records ‘of who flew on Epstein’s plane and who helped him build an international human trafficking, sex trafficking ring’.”

The Duke previously settled a civil sex assault case with Virginia Giuffre for approximately £12 million in 2022.
Epstein survivors have called for the FBI to relaunch its investigation into the Royal, which concluded in 2024.
“‘Andrew has to face justice. He was friends with Epstein for years and has never answered for it. Kash Patel should release all the FBI’s files immediately.’ [Epstein victim] Marijke Chartouni, said: ‘This solidifies the fact that Andrew has selective amnesia when it comes to his friendship with Epstein, just like other powerful men who knew him’.”
The revelatory emails emerged from legal documents in London concerning a case involving former Barclays Bank chief and Epstein associate Jes Staley.
