Craig Conover revealed the fate of Paige DeSorbo’s engagement ring during a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
The “Southern Charm” personality, 36, disclosed that he had just returned the ring that morning, prompting surprised reactions from his castmates. While Shep Rose exclaimed “Oh, woah,” Austen Kroll questioned why they hadn’t been informed earlier.
Explaining his decision, Conover simply stated, “I just don’t need custody of it anymore so I took it back to the guy.”

This revelation follows a mid-season “Southern Charm” trailer from February, where Conover had discussed purchasing the ring for the “Summer House” star. “She asked me to buy her a ring, and I did,” he had confided to Kroll and Rose. “It was just like, over. It’s weird to like, mourn someone that’s still alive.”
Prior to their November 2024 split, Conover had expressed his intention to propose, as shown in the trailer. During the “Southern Charm” reunion, he shared that DeSorbo had suggested he keep the ring and proposed they marry at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.
In a surprising turn of events, Conover also announced on the late-night show that he’s currently dating someone new. “I am [dating someone], and I’m really happy,” he told a visibly shocked Cohen. The Sewing Down South founder elaborated that he typically dates exclusively, adding that “everything happens for a reason.”
