Reform UK has achieved unprecedented levels of support in Scotland, marking a significant milestone in the party’s growing influence across the United Kingdom.
Recent polling conducted by Survation for Quantum Communications reveals Reform UK has secured third place in Scotland with 17 percent support, marking the party’s strongest performance to date in the region.
The Scottish National Party (SNP) maintains its leading position with 34 percent support, though this represents a considerable decline from their 48 percent showing in the 2021 local elections. Labour holds second place at 23 percent, while the Conservatives trail in fourth position with 12 percent. The Liberal Democrats and Greens follow with 8 and 4 percent respectively.

Current polling suggests Reform UK could secure 14 Westminster seats from Scotland if a general election were held immediately.
Professor Nicola McEwen of Glasgow University commented: “The rise of Reform across the UK has been one of the key features of polling in the last year. Until now, Scotland had seemed to buck the trend, but this poll puts Reform UK at its highest share of the vote in Scotland to date.”
“The poll suggests Reform UK could be a real contender for constituency seats in those regions where it has most support, especially Central Scotland, Mid Scotland and Fife, and the West of Scotland.”
This Scottish breakthrough coincides with Reform UK’s strong national performance, where the party has been either leading or matching Labour Party support levels over recent months.
A huge shift is underway in Scotland. 🏴

The results emerge as Reform UK prepares for May’s local council elections in England, where significant gains are anticipated following limited participation in previous contests before Nigel Farage’s return to leadership.
Farage has outlined ambitious plans to secure approximately 200 seats nationwide, up from zero in the previous election. This expansion is viewed as crucial for professionalizing the party ahead of the 2029 general election campaign.
The party recently welcomed 29 local council defectors from various political backgrounds, including Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat, and independent representatives.
Addressing these developments, Farage stated: “We are growing. We are building. We are deepening. We are broadening. We are strengthening. We are getting ready for the 1st of May. This party is very, very much on the up.”
