Secret Senate Vote May Block Gabbard Intelligence Role

The Senate’s GOP majority might conduct a secret vote on Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination for Director of National Intelligence (DNI), potentially derailing her confirmation without public accountability.

The situation stems from Senator Susan Collins (RINO-ME) expressing reservations about Gabbard’s position on FISA Section 702, which enables warrantless surveillance of foreign targets. Gabbard previously sought to eliminate this provision, citing Fourth Amendment violations through unauthorized surveillance of Americans, though she’s attempted to address these concerns with senators.

Collins, wielding significant influence as a Senate Intelligence Committee member, could prove decisive in Gabbard’s confirmation. With the committee split 9-8 along party lines, Gabbard cannot withstand any Republican defections.

Beyond Collins’ opposition, Senator Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC) has shown hesitation regarding Gabbard, citing her Syrian diplomatic visit and her advocacy for Edward Snowden.

Charlie Kirk from Turning Point USA, citing Capitol Hill sources, revealed: “I’m told that the vote for Tulsi Gabbard might be done privately in a SCIF (sensitive compartmented information facility), – with the vote tallies kept secret from the American people.” He further stated: “This is outrageous and wrong. The American people deserve to know how THEIR Senators vote on Trump’s nominees!”

This potential private vote not only jeopardizes Gabbard’s nomination but also undermines President Trump’s recent electoral mandate. Citizens are urged to contact their senators demanding a public vote on Gabbard’s confirmation, as a private vote might indicate widespread opposition protecting Deep State interests.
