The couple was spotted bundled up against the cold as they left Washington, D.C., bound for North Carolina to visit areas impacted by hurricane devastation.
The President donned a long black overcoat paired with navy trousers, while the First Lady kept warm in a hunter green puffer jacket, black pants, a black beanie, black-and-gold aviator sunglasses, and black combat boots.
“So we’re going to North Carolina,” President Trump informed reporters before their departure. “It’s been a horrible thing the way that’s been allowed to fester, and we’re going to get it fixed up.”

After the President’s brief remarks, he and the First Lady boarded the Marine One helicopter stationed on the White House’s front lawn.
They initially flew to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, where they transferred to Air Force One for their flight to Asheville, North Carolina.
During their afternoon in western North Carolina, the couple plans to assess the recovery efforts in towns ravaged by the destructive flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.
Following their visit to the hurricane-stricken region, Air Force One will transport the President and First Lady to Los Angeles, where they will tour areas decimated by the devastating wildfires.

From there, they will reboard the presidential aircraft and continue on to Las Vegas, where they are expected to spend the night before President Trump takes the stage for a rally on Saturday.
This cross-country trip marks the first official journey the President and First Lady have undertaken together since his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States on Monday.
At the inauguration ceremony earlier this week, the President was surrounded by various celebrities, tech moguls, and his five children – Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Barron Trump.
