In a recent social media outburst, Donald Trump took aim at the Democratic party, alleging they made substantial payments to secure endorsements from prominent celebrities for Vice President Kamala Harris.

The former president posted on Truth Social, claiming specific payment amounts: “Are the Democrats allowed to pay $11,000,000, $2,000,000, and $500,000 to get the ENDORSEMENT of Beyoncé, Oprah, and Reverend Al?” He continued, “I don’t think so! Beyoncé didn’t sing, Oprah didn’t do much of anything (she called it “expenses”), and Al is just a third rate Con Man. So what is going on here???”

Trump further emphasized his concerns by adding, “Totally against the law, and I have heard there are many others!!!”

While the source of Trump’s specific figures remains uncertain, both Beyoncé and Oprah Winfrey did participate in Harris’s unsuccessful presidential campaign activities. Additionally, Al Sharpton, who hosts “Politics Nation” on MSNBC, conducted an interview with Harris in October and organized a voter mobilization rally supporting her candidacy.

Reports from the Washington Free Beacon indicate that Sharpton’s National Action Network, a nonprofit organization, received a $500,000 donation from Harris shortly before their interview. When questioned about this payment, MSNBC stated they had no knowledge of the transaction, and Sharpton’s representatives did not respond to requests for comment.

Addressing the allegations, Winfrey has denied receiving any direct payment from Harris’s campaign, explaining that her company, Harpo Productions, earned $1 million for producing the “Unite for America” virtual town hall event in September.

Financial records show that Harris’s campaign made a payment of $165,000 to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Production Media in November, following their joint appearance at an event in Houston, the singer’s hometown.
