In a recent “Fox & Friends” interview, President Donald Trump expressed his opposition to invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Joe Biden from office. Trump warned that Vice President Kamala Harris would be a more dangerous replacement, criticizing her record and labeling her “worse than he is.”
Trump remarked, “I don’t think they should use the 25th Amendment. Not long to go, you know, we have four months now and then he’s got another month and a half.” He went on to describe Harris as a “San Francisco radical” and a worse candidate than Biden. “She’s actually much worse and a way worse candidate than he is and she’s not doing very well,” Trump stated.
When asked about the potential impact of a Harris presidency, Trump firmly said, “No,” arguing she is “the most radical person we’ve probably had in office.” He also criticized Biden’s choice of Harris as his running mate, citing her aggressive behavior during the 2020 primary debates. “She was the meanest person up there. She was meaner to [Biden] than anybody else. She accused him of being racist with the buses,” Trump recalled.
Addressing Harris’ recent comments calling him a “predator,” Trump condemned her remarks as “disgusting” and criticized those advising him to be nice despite being attacked. “I’m dealing against real garbage when you hear that,” he said.
These comments follow Trump’s and his running mate JD Vance’s accusations of a Democratic “coup” against Biden, with Vance suggesting that if Biden is unfit to run, he shouldn’t finish his term. Vance told “Primetime” host Jesse Watters, “If it’s an actual problem, they should take care of it the appropriate way.”
