Trump used Truth Social to criticize Democrats for incorporating the Cheneys into Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign efforts.
“The Democrats made a BIG mistake in getting Crazy Liz Cheney, and her father, Dick, involved in their campaign for President,” Trump declared on his platform Sunday evening. “It made the Republicans angry, and the Democrats just plain scratching their heads in amazement. It is always a bad idea to bring ‘losers’ into a political campaign!”

Liz Cheney, who previously represented Wyoming, emerged as one of Trump’s strongest Republican opponents after participating in the House select committee that investigated the January 6 Capitol incident and determined Trump’s responsibility.
Her involvement in Harris’s campaign appeared strategic, aiming to reassure Republican voters that supporting Harris wouldn’t compromise their conservative values. Her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, also stood among Harris’s prominent Republican backers.
Dick Cheney’s September endorsement emphasized civic responsibility, suggesting Americans should “put country above partisanship.”
The former vice president declared that “in our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump,” explaining his decision to support Harris.
The president-elect has consistently criticized both Cheneys.
