Representative Erin Houchin, a Republican from Indiana, conveyed to Newsmax on Wednesday that the presidency of Donald Trump epitomized a golden era for America. Through his executive orders and the enactment of the Laken Riley Act, Houchin stated on “National Report” that Trump has kept the promises he made to the American people.

“The House Republicans are in complete alignment with the president to deliver on these promises,” Houchin declared.

Houchin emphasized Trump’s commitment to eliminating radical transgender ideology and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. “He wants to ensure that federal funds are not allocated to these initiatives that are harming American youth and citizens,” Houchin asserted. “I certainly support all efforts to achieve that.”

By signing executive orders aimed at curtailing federal support for gender transition surgeries for individuals under the age of 19, Houchin affirmed that Trump is restoring common sense to America. “We cannot endorse these gender mutilations on children,” Houchin averred. “I’m pleased that the president is taking a firm stance on this. I’m delighted that he has taken executive action to halt these practices that House Republicans and Senate Republicans have been striving for prior to Trump, all of which have been obstructed by the radical Biden administration and congressional Democrats. It’s a new golden age for America. A return to common sense. We’re excited to be part of it.”
