A police investigation has revealed a shocking murder-for-hire plot involving Victoria Goodwin, who allegedly attempted to arrange the killing of her husband, Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin.
Victoria was taken into custody by Nevada authorities on March 6 and placed in Clark County jail with bail set at $100,000. According to the New York Post, she faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder.
Reports from TMZ indicate that Victoria initiated contact with an incarcerated individual in Florida during October to orchestrate her husband’s murder. Law enforcement officials have obtained text messages exchanged between Victoria and the convict.

In one particularly incriminating message, Victoria allegedly wrote, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”
Another message suggested her impatience for updates on the planned hit: “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?”
According to police, Victoria provided comprehensive information about her husband’s filming schedule and location in California to the intended hitman. She reportedly agreed to pay $11,515 for the murder and transferred a $22,500 initial payment.

The plot came to light when Florida jail officials discovered incriminating messages on the convict’s contraband cell phone, prompting them to alert Nevada investigators.
Victoria has denied any genuine intent to harm Aaron, claiming she was merely engaging in fantasy. She maintains that the $2,500 payment was intended for cell phone purchases rather than a murder contract.
TMZ reports that Aaron Goodwin was blindsided by these developments, having believed his marriage was stable and secure.
